The dwelling must have storm windows, double-paned windows, or weather-stripped metal doors.<\/li>\n<li>If the heat pump is installed in an existing dwelling, it must meet the insulation standards listed above where possible.<\/li>\n<li>The heat pump must be installed according to the manufacturer&#8217;s specifications and recommendations and installed according to all applicable national, state &amp; local codes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A purchase receipt for the heat pump and a signed invoice from the contractor must accompany the rebate application when submitted for processing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pdemc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/RebateFormUpdated2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heat Pump Rebate Application (PDF)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pee Dee Electric offers a $100 account credit for air source heat pumps that have a SEER rating of 15-15.99, a $300 account credit for air source heat pumps that have a SEER rating of 16 or greater, and a $500 account credit for the installation of an Energy Star ground source heat pump.
