Pee Dee Electric offers a $50.00 rebate for a new or replacement water heater when purchased and installed according to the following standards:
	The water heater shall have at least a 40-gallon tank and must be heated with 4,500-watt elements. The water heater must have an insulation rating (R-value) of 16 or more. Pee Dee Electric recommends insulating the water heater with an insulation jacket and also insulating the hot water pipes. The unit should provide adequate hot water for the home.
	The member or contractor will choose the water heater that meets Pee Dee Electric's specifications listed from above and may purchase it at a dealer of his or her choice. The member will also choose his or her own plumping contractor. Please attach a copy of the original invoice with this application.
	We encourage the member or contractor to make the dwelling as energy efficient as possible through the use of high insulation standards, energy efficient appliances, etc. Since the water heater remains the member or contractor's property, all-future service is at his her own expense. Pee Dee Electric makes no guarantee, expressed or implied, about the quality of the water heater or its installation.

	The manufacturer guarantees the water heater against defects. To request a rebate through the Pee Dee EMC Water Heater Rebate Program, print the Water Heater Rebate form and mail it to your local Pee Dee EMC Office. This document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader
