After being in the electric industry for more than sixty years, Pee Dee EMC still values the conservation of energy use as well as helping it's members get the most of their energy dollars. The Generator Program began in October of 1997 and has proven beneficial in saving both the cooperative and our consumer's money.

This service is available in all of the cooperative's territory, on a voluntary basis to both General Small Service consumers as well as Large Power Service consumers served by the cooperative. This service is however subject to the cooperative's established Service Rules and Regulations. In order to qualify for our generator program you must be non residential and shall not exceed 50 kVA of transformer capacity for General Small Time-of-Use service and no more than 500kW for the Large Power Peak Service. This rate shall be limited to the availability of appropriate meters and may be limited further by the saturation and impact on the Cooperative's electric system of consumers utilizing this rate schedule in a general area.
