How Your Bill is Determined

Every month you will receive an electric bill from Pee Dee Electric. Billing is for a one-month period & is determined by a meter reading. Meters are read on or about the same day each month. Bills are dated and mailed on the last day of the billing period.

Payment is due upon receipt of the bill and is past due after 25 days. Payment may be made by mail to the address shown on your bill or in person at any Pee Dee office.

Budget Billing
Higher electric bills always seem to come at the wrong time. Now we can help you do something about it, and help get your budget under control. Our Budget Billing program is great for those on a fixed income, or anyone who just wants to be able to plan ahead. Budget billing is available to customers who have been with us for at least a year and their account is in good standing. We'd average the bill for the last 12 months and make that your standard payment until October. In October, we average your bill for the last 12 months again. If an adjustment needs to be made, you could be issued a refund or required to pay additional, depending on your power usage.

Who can benfefit from budget billing?
- Anyone who wants to know in advance the amount to be billed.
- Anyone who's on a fixed income or has a tight budget.
